Why Hydro Tek?
Solutions for by-pass heat damage:
(One of the most common and costly repairs to pressure washers is by-pass heat damage. This happens when the machine is running but the trigger gun is shut. Like any hydraulics in by-pass mode, tremendous heat is generated from the friction of the liquid movement. As the water temperature in the by-pass rises, your pump begins to cavitate. This in turn damages valves, seals, ceramic pistons and even the unloader valve. Generally, it is more cost affective to replace the pump and unloader rather than repair them.)
Solution:
- Two Hydro Tek HD models offer automatic, complete machine on/off at the trigger gun. This so called ITS system eliminates by-passing.
- All of the belt drive Hydro Tek pressure washers incorporate a float tank. By-pass water is re-circulated through the float tank cooling the by-pass water.
- Hydro Tek pressure washer models CW-CN-HP-HN and HE come with adjustable timed delay shut down systems. If the trigger gun is not pulled open in a pre-selected time, the whole machine simply shuts off. Simply pull the trigger open to automatically and instantly restart the pressure washer. No going back to the machine to restart it.
Stainless Steel Coil Housing and inner wrap:
A pressure washer with lifetime corrosion resistance, inside and out for unmatched coil protection, double wall protected to contain the intense heat of the burner providing optimal long life and performance.
Stainless Steel Panels:
Not just decorative flashes for our pressure washers, these rugged and durable panels offer lifetime corrosion resistance and protection of your valuable investment from the harshest environments. Keeps your pressure washer looking like new for years to come. Quick connects provide easy removal for full access to all major components and the ultimate in serviceability.
NEMA 4 – Water tight control panel:
ETL certified to UL 1776 Class 2, for use in wash-down area, exceeds industry standards. Special Hydro Tek control box features easy to use controls and provides instant access to electronics. Standard diagnostic indicators, including an hour meter to monitor the pressure washers use, ensure optimal system performance.
Cat Belt Driven Pump:
Our heavy duty pressure washers incorporate high torque, low rpm drive – cooler, quieter, continuous duty performance. These industrial triplex pumps outperform others in longevity – featuring concentrically bored and polished graphite impregnated ceramic plungers with advanced seal designs for the ultimate standard – yours.
Rugged “pro-tect-it” frame:
The ultimate in protection. Hydro Tek’s unique frame is made from heavy gauge steel, with durable electro-statically applied finish or all stainless steel construction.
UL/CSA Conformance:
After extensive engineering, designing, testing and prototype development, Hydro Tek was successful in achieving ETL-C certification approval through Intertek testing for their entire line of hot water electric powered pressure washers. This testing included passing the level 2 wash down test allowing (per UL1776, page 121, paragraph 84.6) “a portable product or product intended to be located in a wash area”. This certification is equivalent to UL and CSA.
